I am currently the Assistant Minister at Christ Church. I have attended Christ Church since leaving uni in 1974 (do the maths!). I worked with the County Council for many years, going part time when ordained in 1999, and then leaving two years ago to focus on work in Christ Church. I am a part-time postgraduate student at Trinity College in Bristol doing an MA focusing on mission studies. My ministry passions are mission (home and overseas); interpreting and teaching the scriptures; and looking at the relationship between science and faith. Outside of the church context I am an inveterate traveller by train in Europe and have a reputation for open air swimming. My prayer for this series on Mark (particularly for those of us older in the faith) is that we would break through the familiarity of the words and regain our first love for who Jesus is and what he has done.
